Aiming for social implementation of research outcomes
This project aims to implement the research outcomes of Professor Hideto Kojima in society.
KIYAN PHARMA Co., Ltd. aims to implement the research results from the Regenerative Medicine Course at Shiga University of Medical Science, led by Special Professor Hideto Kojima and Specially Appointed Professor Takahiko Nakagawa, in society.
The term “social implementation” originated from the concept of “social technology,” meaning science and technology for humans and society. Social implementation involves applying and deploying research outcomes to solve social problems. We will pursue this as a global movement, not just in Japan.

Goodbye. Diabetes.
Aiming for a complete cure for diseases through “Diabetes Cure Drugs” and “Cell Targeting Technology” that deliver drugs to specific cells.
Shiga University of Medical Science, Regenerative Medicine Course
Innovative Development of Regenerative Medicine Technology and Complete Cure for Diabetes
This course merges the latest biological knowledge with advanced engineering technologies to create new paradigms in disease treatment. It focuses on the repair and regeneration of damaged tissues and organs, aiming to develop customized treatments tailored to individual patients. This initiative brings new hope to the treatment of previously limited incurable diseases, pioneering the future of medical science.
Discovery of the Cause of Diabetes
Abnormal cells causing diabetes and its complications discovered in hematopoietic stem cells.
Developing companion diagnostic drugs to diagnose diabetes based on the presence of diabetes stem cells in peripheral blood.
Biozipcode (Cell Targeting Technology)
An innovative system for delivering drugs exclusively to specific cells in the body.
Development of new drugs using Biozipcode and reuse of drugs previously unusable due to side effects.
Development of materials for tissue regeneration that can engraft onto tissues without needing transplants or sutures.
